Not long ago, another dimension filled with mystical people and incredible magic existed peacefully, until the powerful warrior Morticon lead his army of the undead in an all-out attack. Their aim was to take over both the magical realm, as well as the normal human world. Their advances were stopped, however, by a legion of brave wizards and warriors, armed with the power of the elements. Several of these wizards, at the cost of their lives, defeated the evil army. The Red wizard, Leanbow, and his sister-in-law, Niella, with their final displays of magic, trapped the enemy forces back in the Underworld, sealed behind giant gates.
The human world had no knowledge of the war, or the sacrifices that stopped it. They continue to live their lives in ignorance. Unfortunately, the seal between the dimensions seems to have weakened enough that several warriors of the evil army were able to break free, and can now pass between the Underworld and the human world at will. With the threat of evil once again hanging overhead, Udonna, Leanbow's wife and Niella's sister, has given the power of magic to five teenagers from the city of Briarwood. These five teens now have amazing abilities, as well as the same power over the elements the wizards before them wielded. With the help of their mentor, a strong knight, and a lost friend, they must use their powers to protect both their city and the magical forest nearby from again falling under the rule of evil.
