Cassidy Cornell

Cassidy dreams of becoming a famous reporter. She is the anchor and field reporter for Reefside High School's TV station. She is always asking questions, even if it annoys the person she is questioning, and would do anything to get a scoop. Her career is the most important thing to her. But although she is often annoying and insensitive, and seems shallow, she proves she has a deeper side and can do what is right - even if it means hurting her career.

Cassidy's almost constant companion is her cameraman, Devin. He follows her everywhere, filming whenever she thinks she has found a story. He also acts as a personal assistant, fetching and carrying whatever she needs. He rarely stands up to her, but on the rare occasion he does she takes his advice. When he abandoned her to practise for a computer game competition, she fell apart: without him, she couldn't even get dressed properly. He eventually managed to ask her to the prom, and they went together.

She also had a brief romance with Ethan, when they were paired up by an internet dating service. In the end, they decided to stay just friends. Another ranger she has ben friendly with is Kira, who got her a job as a reporter at a television station.

In the first episode, she wore a cheerleading outfit, but no other mention is made of this.

Her middle name is Agnes.

She doesn't like florescent lighting.
