Conner is a star soccer player who dreams of turning pro. He plays for his school team and a local club team, and uses his position to get away with whatever he likes. At first, he is labelled a dumb jock by his fellow rangers, and did seem arrogant, self-centered, and a bit of an airhead. However, despite his faults, he is honest and always means well.
He doubted himself as a Ranger, almost quitting twice, but with help from the other Rangers he realised his true passion is protecting and helping people. He became the Triassic Ranger using the Shield of Triumph, and when he started to believe in himself he was able to unlock his Battlizer. He is the Ranger most connected to his Dino Gem, and was the first to access Super Dino Mode.
Red Dino Gem - Conner's Dino Gem gives him super-speed. It is worn on a silver bracelet, which can turn into a morpher.
Thundermax Saber - The Thundermax saber is his main weapon. It can also be used in laser mode.
Tyranno Staff - Conner's unique weapon. It can be combined with the other Rangers' weapons to create the Z-Rex Blaster.
Super Dino Mode - Conner was the first Ranger to access Super Dino Mode, which gives him increased strength and power.
Shield of Triumph - Using the Shield of Triumph, Conner can become the Triassic Dino Ranger. This gives him increased strength and allows him to travel into other dimensions.
Battlizer Armour - This gives Conner new abilities, including increased strength, stretchy arms and legs, shoulder cannons, and a Mezodon-faced shield.
Mezodon - One of the Triassic Ranger's zords. This pulls the Triassic Megarover and combines with it to create the Mezodon Megazord.
Triassic Megarover - One of the Triassic Ranger's zords. This combines with the Mezodon to create the Mezodon Megazord.
Mezodon Megazord - One of the Triassic Ranger's zords. This is a combination of the Mezodon and the Triassic Megarover.
Conner has a friendly relationship with Kira and Ethan, although the three often tease each other. He admires Tommy Oliver, who appeared to see Conner's potential from the beginning and tried to help him believe in himself. He was the angriest after they discovered Trent had turned evil, and the slowest to forgive him. While on opposing sides, they often fought one on one and had a fierce rivalry. Even after Trent joined the Rangers, Conner was least trustful of him, until Trent saved his life in a battle.
One of his non-Ranger friends is called Derek, a fellow soccer player who is a bully. Conner helps him practise soccer. Another soccer player he becomes friends with is Alexi, although at first they did not get along because of Conner's jealousy and Alexi's poor English. He develops a crush on a girl named Krista, declaring her to be 'the future Mrs. McKnight'. She is passionate about saving the enviroment, and angry when he lies about caring about a tree. They end up going to the prom together. Another non-Ranger friend is Devin. When he wanted help asking Cassidy out, he turned to Conner.
Conner can drive, and owns his own car, a red 1971 Ford Mustang Mach 1. He also owns his own cell phone.
He has an identical twin brother named Eric, who goes to a secret Ninja academy. According to Conner, Eric is such an airhead that he didn't finish Ninja school, and that the two of them are nothing alike. His father is never mentioned, but his mother makes him go Christmas shopping with her.
Conner cannot swim and possibly suffers from hydrophobia. He doesn't want to go to Mesogog's island because he is afraid they might have to swim.
He is a good enough soccer player that he could have joined the Reefside Waves, presumably a professional team. He turned them down to stay on as a Power Ranger. In 20 years time, he will have become famous for his soccer camps around the country, but at first he had trouble finding the money to set them up.
