The spell system in Mystic Force is very diverse, and allows for spells of all different types and sorts to be cast. There are three divisions of spells, Light, Neutral, and Dark. The general system works in a method that takes a cue from Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter. Spells are cast using words in an imaginary language that translate to what the caster is trying to do directly. In reality, however, the “imaginary language” uses words derived mainly from Latin, Greek, and Welsh, with a few other sources occasionally used.
Light-based spells are restricted to use by the side of good only. They require a focus for their power, which is generally the Rangers' magic wands/Mystic Morphers. At the beginning of the show, the Light spell system seemed to be relegated to ten words only, though any combination of them could be used, and these ten words each coincided with a number on the Rangers' keypad.
However, recent events have hinted that the Light spell system is really like the Neutral and Dark systems, where an infinite number of words are available for usage. If this is the case, then it seems that the Rangers only had access to ten originally simply because they were new in their abilities. A spell cast by Leanbow highly points in this direction, but true proof must wait until one of the Rangers do the same.
The following is a list of the original ten words linked to the Mystic Morpher keypads.
| Key | Spell Word | Origin | Meaning |
| 1 | Galwit | Welsh | galw “call” |
| 2 | Mysto | Greek | mustes “secret” |
| 3 | Ranger | French | rangier “to arrange in a row” (military troop) |
| 4 | Motro | Latin | motor/moveo “move” |
| 5 | Prifior | Welsh | prifio “grow” |
| 6 | Unios | Latin | unus “one” |
| 7 | Du | Latin | duo “two” |
| 8 | Tryn | Latin | trinus “third” |
| 9 | Aerotan | Greek | aer “air” |
| 0 | Nermax | Welsh/Latin | W. nerth + L. maximus “power” + “greatest” |
Below is a list of Light spells that the Rangers have used. Most light spells, if not all, logically have dial codes based on the table above, but in the list below, any spell that doesn't give a dial code means that the Rangers have the ability to cast that spell simply using their Morphers/wands as a power source, without needing to actually dial anything. Any spell below that doesn't list an incantation means that the Rangers will generally perform this spell without saying anything, whether they need to dial it in or not.
Also keep in mind that due to editing mistakes in the episodes, shots of the Rangers dialing codes have often been mixed up with incorrectly used footage from the show's source, Mahou Sentai Magiranger, which uses a different system for casting spells. Similarly, one or two spells will permanently use a Japanese code that doesn't make sense with the US system. For example, the show often shows the Rangers dialing the Japanese spell 1-0-7 to turn into Titan form rather than using the American spell, 1-2-5.
| Spell Name | Incantation | Dial Code | First used in episode | User | Used while | Description |
| Broom Summon | Mysto Aerotan | | 01 | Udonna | Unmorphed | Summons the five mystical brooms from the sky. |
| Morph | Magical Source, Mystic Force! (Galwit Mysto Ranger) | 1-2-3 | 01 | All | Unmorphed | Transforms the caster into a Mystic Ranger. Udonna could cast this from her wand directly, without needing to dial the code. |
| Weapon Summon | | 0-3 | | Core group | Morphed | According to the Mystic Morpher toy, this spell converts the guys' Magi Staffs into weapon mode. This spell has not been used in the show, however, and may not actually exist. |
| Broom Morph | Galwit Mysto Aerotan | | 03 | Core group | Morphed | Transforms the normal brooms into Mystic Racers. |
| Mystic Speeder | Galwit Mysto Motro | 1-2-4 | 04 | Nick | Morphed | Transforms the Red Ranger's Mystic Racer into the Mystic Speeder motorcycle. |
| Mystic Force Fighters | | 8-8-3 | 10 | Core group | Morphed | Gives the caster magical boxing gloves to increase the power of their punches with. |
| Mystic Muscles | | 1-0 | 14 | Xander | Morphed | Gives a massive size increase to the caster's torso muscles, allowing them to do powerful attacks and carry the other Rangers as easily as picking up toothpicks. |
| Legend Warriors | Legendary Source, Mystic Force! (Galwit Mysto Nermax) | 1-2-0 | 20 | Core group | Morphed | Transforms the caster into their Legend Warrior form. Once there, they are given Mystic Lion Staffs with 5 punchable codes to use instead of the Light syllable system from their phones. |
| Titan Mode | Galwit Mysto Prifior | 1-2-5 | 01 | All | Morphed | Makes the Rangers grow to giant size. For the five teens, also transforms them into the Mystic Titans. Udonna could cast this from her wand directly, without needing to dial the code. |
| Dragon Formation | | | 03 | Core group minus Nick | Titan | Combines all the Mystic Titans minus Phoenix into Dragon mode. When the Rangers received this code initially, 1, 2, 5, 7, and 9 all glowed on their keypads. The actual incantation in the show, if one exists, is currently unknown. The Mystic Morpher toy claims it's 1-0-2-7. |
| Titan Megazord | Galwit Mysto Unios | | 04 | Core group | Titan | Combines the five Mystic Titans into the Titan Megazord. |
This chart references spells that the Rangers can use by punching codes on their Mystic Lion Staffs while they're in Legend Warrior mode.

| Team Attack | Legend Warriors, united formation! | Code 2 | 20 | Core group | Legend | Allows the five Rangers to let loose with a powerful energy attack guaranteed to finish opponents. Less and more powerful versions, such as the Dual Magic Blast and Mystic Force Fury, can be done depending on how many people are involved. |

| Morph | Magical Source, Mystic Force! | M key | 14 | Unmorphed | Transforms Daggeron into the Solaris Knight. |
| Train | | | 15 | Unmorphed | Calls the Solar Train for transportation. |
| Joint | | | 15 | Morphed | Transforms the Solar Train into Solar Streak Megazord. |
The following chart references spells that may possibly classify as Light spells, but aren't yet confirmed to be so, or use different words than the original ten.
| Spell Name | Incantation | Translation | First used in episode | User | Used while | Description |
| Counter Spell | | | 05 | Nick | Titan | Used to reverse Koragg's teleportation spell, sending Morticon back to the Underworld. |
| Teleport | Uthe Zazare | wonderful(Welsh)
transport(Magi) | 23 | Leanbow | Normal | A Light-themed version of Koragg's normal teleportation spell, although Leanbow used Uthe Sastos again without qualm in episode 27. |
Neutral spells, unlike Light spells as they initially acted, do not require the Rangers to stick within a restricted system with a set number of words. Theoretically, it is possible for anyone, good or evil, to cast these spells, since the spell result isn't aligned to a particular side. However, there has been no instance of any members of the evil forces casting a Neutral spell to date. Disastrous results can occur when a Neutral spell is fumbled.
In the table below, the User column shows who was the one that used that spell the first time it appeared, not who all can use it, as in the Light Spell table. Since many more words are used, translations are given with each spell as opposed to its own separate chart as in the Light spell section.
| Spell Name | Incantation | Translation | First used in episode | User | Description |
| Paralysis | Corum Oviat Ditrum | corrupt(Latin)
sheep(Latin)
wear-out(Greek) | 01 | Clare | This spell turned Clare into a sheep. It's quite likely that she was trying to cast “Moviat”, which would have resulted in corrupting the Rangers' movement instead of her body. |
| Reverse Metamorphosis | Morfay Mammun | change(Greek)
pure(Latin) | 02 | Udonna | This spell was used to transform Clare back into human form. |
| Wand Morph | Utum Zore | associate(Latin)
current-life(Greek) | 02 | Udonna | Transformed the Rangers magic wands into inconspicuous, cell-phone based Mystic Morphers. |
| Flower Picking | Florum Xylo Copa | flora(Latin)
wood(Greek)
worker(Greek) | 03 | Clare | This spell released a swarm of bees. Clare probably meant to say “Copia”, which would have gathered a supply of the target instead of agitating worker bees. |
| Head Swell | Craneor Magnus | head(Greek)
great(Latin) | 03 | Madison | Made Xander's head grow to huge size. |
| Unpetrify | Sorvadum Nuchaios | fluid(Latin)
spine(German) | 04 | Udonna | Turns living stone objects back to normal. This spell was unsuccessful on Madison, however. |
| Transmutation | Reflectus Targo | reflect(Latin)
impede(Latin) | 04 | Nick | Transformed a section of pavement into a large mirror. |
| Levitation | Levitatus Milanda | lightweight(Latin)
figure(Greek) | 05 | Chip | Allows the caster to float in the air. |
| Levitate Object | Hilarium Shenolia | ??
?? | 05 | Clare | Allows the caster to make an object float in the air. When fumbled, however, this spell turned Clare completely bald. |
| Negation | Finitio | end(Latin) | 06 | Nick | Allows the caster to reverse the effects of a previous magical spell/event. Nick used this both to return Clare's hair to normal, and to heal Catastros of a wound from a magical arrow. If there's been no previous spell to reverse, then Finitio makes the caster invisible for a short period of time. |
| Locator | Nomini Meneminus Rox | name(Latin)
few(Welsh)
spirit(Latin) | 06 | Xander | Used to find the location of a specific person or small group of people. Xander tried to use this to find the lost Nick, but the spell didn't work at the time. |
| Locate Loved One | Calingo Tremonaje | speech(Latin) glimpse(Welsh) | 06 | Chip | Allows communication with lost-loved ones across dimensions, though this was unseccesful at getting the Rangers in contact with the lost Nick. |
| Life Force | Vivasim Erectu | alive(Latin)
stand(Latin) | 07 | Xander | Turns an inanimate object to life, or vice-versa. |
| Magic Channeling | Norwu Estraba Luxrotu | undertake(Latin)
window(Latin)
turn-light(Latin) | 12 | Udonna | Allowed Udonna to magically channel her snow powers to the Titan Megazord, even while out of reach of the staff and trapped in the Underworld. |
| Evil Banishment | Malorium Orvis | evil(Welsh)
influence(Latin) | 14 | Clare | An attack spell that sends energy at its target to banish them. |
| Forestation | Udfus Methud Arborus | imbue(Latin)
infirm(Welsh)
flora(Latin) | 15 | Xander | Causes extensive growth in the plant-based target. Especially useful for turning seeds into trees within seconds. |
| Imbalance | Udfus Methud | imbue(Latin)
failure(Welsh) | 26 | Nick, Vida | Throws the target off balance, generally knocking them over. |
Like Neutral spells, Dark spells do not require a restricted list of spell words; they draw from an unlimited group of magical words. Morticon and Necrolai both show an affinity for using dark-themed abilities, but only Koragg and Imperious have regularly used actual magic to date. Udonna used one Dark spell of her own, but wizards based primarily in Light magic who attempt to use Dark spells run the risk of losing their powers forever.
Just like the Neutral spells, the chart below has translations next to each spell. Translated words with “Magi” listed as their source actually came directly from the spell system used in Magiranger.
