Krybots are the lowest ranking robotic soldiers of Emperor Gruumm. They fill in the traditional Power Rangers “foot soldiers” or “cannon fodder” position in S.P.D. Krybots are gray and black colored robots incapable of human speech. They made a distinctive robotic sound but it is somewhat unclear if this sound is a robotic language or simply the sound of Krybot gears grinding together. They show little intelligence and are easily distracted by colorful or playful objects (Endings pt. I). Krybots are the weakest fighters in Gruumm's Troobian army; their strength lies in their large numbers. They are almost always deployed in large numbers of six or more and are often used to distract or occupy the Rangers in order to allow a more complex plot to continue.
Krybots are transported and kept in a small metal sphere that resembles a soccer ball in appearance. The Krybot sphere is capable of holding anywhere from five to a dozen or more Krybot soldiers. It is activated by being tossed into the air.
All Krybots have a cannon attached to their right arm.
Throughout the series, the arms dealer, Broodwing, is the primary provider of Krybots and other foot soldiers and weaponry for Gruumm. It is unclear if Krybots are robots created and maintained exclusively by Emperor Gruumm or if Krybots are a standard military footsoldier sold throughout the galaxy. However, since Gruumm has an army of Krybots in the first episode and Broodwing does not make his appearance in the series until the episode Confronted, it is most likely that Krybots are not exclusive to the Troobian army.
The Bluehead robot is one of Gruumm's 'intermediate' fighters. They appear to be higher ranked than standard Krybots but subordinate to Orangehead robots. They are often seen coordinating and leading a squadron of Krybots into battle; typically only one to two Blueheads will appear in a battle with a dozen or so Krybot infrantry. Unlike normal Krybots, Blueheads are capable of speech and show a superior intellect. Blueheads are often given solo missions or are used for surveillance gathering by Gruumm (Beginnings pts. I & II). Like Krybots, Blueheads are treated as dispensable infantry by Emperor Gruumm. In Beginnings pt. II, for example, Gruumm crushed a Bluehead that had failed him and simply recalled another Bluehead to take his place.
Blueheads, like Krybots, appear to be stored in small metal containers. These containers resemble a ringed planet in their small ball shape and ring of metal around the middle. But whereas a Krybot “ball” can contain half a dozen or so robots, the Bluehead container seems capable of only holding one robot.
In addition to superior physical strength, Bluehead robots possess a moderately sized laser weapon on their right arm.
Like Krybots, Blueheads are supplied by Broodwing.
The Orangehead was introduced in Sam pt. I and is the last and most powerful type of Krybot. They are quite intelligent, capable of speech and actively taunting their opponents in battle, and often lead the charge when big groups of normal and Orangehead Krybots are sent to attack the Rangers. Broodwing gave the first one to Mora to stop her from crying, and she in turn sent it out with the monster Bugglesworth, who unleashed it on Jack and Z. Orangeheads are often used when their great brute strength is needed, as they are very capable fighters and can withstand stronger attacks than their normal and blue-headed counterparts. Orangeheads are stored in spiked orange containers, and like Blueheads, seem to come one to a container.
Orangeheads are armed with either a sword, with which they can use a powerful and devastating lightning attack, or a laser, both of which are typically carried in their right hand.
Like Krybots and Blueheads, Orangeheads are supplied by Broodwing.
There has been some controversy in the S.P.D. fandom regarding the name of Emperor Gruumm's army. Gruumm is the self proclaimed ruler of the “Troobian Empire”. Accordingly, Doggie Cruger has referred to Gruumm's entire army as “Troobians”. There is some question then if Krybots, Blueheads and Orangeheads are also “Troobians”, or if Troobian refers to Gruumm's species or non robotic members of Gruumm's empire.
One solution to this is to view “Troobian” as the collective name of the army and to look at individual names “Krybots”, “Blueheads” and “Orangeheads” as rank/identity names. This might all be a moot point however, if the robotic soldiers are viewed as weaponry rather than as traditional soldiers. But it is important to note that conflict between humans and non humans is a central theme in S.P.D.
Many of the monsters in S.P.D. are created from Mora's imagination- she simply draws them in a book and brings them to life to serve Gruumm. However, several of them were independently recruited into the Troobian army, and a few acted on their own, often being given weapons and/or robots by Broodwing to aid them. Broodwing also gives all of the monsters the giant robots they use, whether they work for Gruumm or not.
This unnamed and apparently unpiloted robot appeared in Beginnings pt. II, sent by Broodwing to attack the new B-Squad Rangers when they'd finished off a group of Krybots. The Delta Squad Megazord makes its first appearance, piloted by the A-Squad, in this episode to destroy the robot.
Appearing in Confronted, Praxis was created from Mora's book. The Rangers struggle to defeat him both on their own and in the Delta Runners until Jack decides to step up and become a better and more responsible Red Ranger. The team comes together to form the Delta Squad Megazord for the first time to destroy Praxis' robot and contain him.
Ringbah was a rather fun-loving bounty hunter in Gruumm's employ, seen in Walls. His first time attacking the Rangers was cut short due to his robot running out of energy. He was nearly imploded by Gruumm until Mora talked him out of it by suggesting they power the robot with diamonds, which could be used to mimic Elarian crystals, an energy source not found anywhere on Earth. Ringbah attacks the city again, this time with his machine properly powered, but is defeated by the Red Delta Runner employing the Judgment Sword. He is judged and confined by Sky.
This rhino-like monster is very physically strong and has the ability to change people into a sort of fuel, which he does in Dogged after bargaining with Piggy to get a special formula. Rhinix stores the oil he makes in a secret underground chamber underneath a field in the middle of nowhere, which was scented by R.I.C. Rhinix attacks Syd when she finds the oil, knocking her communicator away so that she can't call for help. She manages to hold him off on her own, even cutting off his horn, until the other Rangers arrive as backup, led by R.I.C. Rhinix is the first monster to be contained by the Canine Cannon after being judged guilty. He later appears in Reflection pt. I, both as one of the monsters Slate copies and very briefly inside his Containment Card.
In A-Bridged, the Rangers are trying to trace and arrest this monster, who has apparently been robbing banks. Z nicknames him T-Top, as his real name is difficult to pronounce. He is seen causing quite a lot of mayhem, including slicing the top off of a car and menacing civilians. He also brushed off the Rangers' attempts to arrest him, saying they were getting in his way. However, T-Top was much gentler than he first appeared, even petting a curious dog, but went on a rampage when Broodwing sent out a bat to bite him and make him grow to a giant size. The Rangers bound him up in Super Crime Scene Tape and shrunk him with the Delta Squad Megazord's handcuffs, and T-Top was judged not guilty of being a robber. He reveals that he is a bounty hunter sent to track the real robber, the Fernovian Hydrax. When Hydrax is contained, T-Top is sent away with her and is not allowed back on Earth because of the destruction he caused.

Hydrax, a plant-based alien from the planet Fernovia, appears in A-Bridged, first in the guise of a human woman named Diane, who acts as a witness to one of the robberies supposedly committed by T-Top. Bridge thinks there is something strange about her and her dog, but the other Rangers dismiss his suspicions. Bridge investigates “Diane” at her home, finding that she has flowers in her garden from the planet Fernovia, and has her blow up a balloon for him. He deduces that she is not human when he finds that his balloon is filled with oxygen instead of carbon dioxide- the opposite of what human lungs would have done. When the Rangers find that T-Top is innocent, Bridge confronts Diane, who is forced to reveal her true form and use concentrated water to slice an empty car Bridge tosses at her. She tells the Rangers that she was being tailed by T-Top and paid Broodwing to get them off her trail, then duels Bridge one-on-one and is contained by him. She later appears in Reflection pt. I, both inside her Containment Card and as one of the monsters whom Slate chooses to copy.
A creation of Mora's that reflects her childlike personality and behavior, Bugglesworth is in Sam pts. I and II. He is sent to Earth by Mora to befriend the street child Sam, armed with a staff that has the ability to turn people into dolls and a giant robot. Bugglesworth takes advantage of Sam's teleportation ability to evade the Rangers and send the people he changes into dolls to Mora to expand her collection. He is defeated when Sam finally turns on him after he remembers the kindness Z showed him, shattering his staff. His robot is destroyed by the Rangers, and Bugglesworth is confined by Z after being judged guilty, making all of his victims turn back to normal. He appears again briefly in Reflection pt. I, both inside his Containment Card and when Slate assumes his form.

Dru Harrington, a Tangarian alien, appears for the first and last time in Idol. He most often takes on a form that looks exactly like a human except for bumps on the skin, four above each eyebrow, but his true body is a dark blue alien named Giganus that can make a cannon appear on his right arm. Dru was best friends with Sky when both attended Earth's Ranger Academy, having a self-described brother-like relationship. The two wore silver bracelets, called Tangarian Coils, as a sign of their friendship, which is a tradition on Dru's home planet. He is an excellent pilot and shot, holding all the records in the practice shooting gallery at the Earth Academy. Three years before the start of the series, Dru was sent to the Nebula Academy to complete his training and supposedly went missing in action about two years later. He purposely crashes his ship on Earth and stays at the Earth Academy again, acting suspicious and searching for Commander Cruger in the middle of the night. Jack insists that he should be re-evaluated after being MIA for so long, but Sky ignores him and continues to defend Dru, until he attempts to assassinate Cruger. Hurt and confused, Sky demands to know why Dru betrayed them, and he responds that he was “shown the light” by Broodwing, tempted away from S.P.D. by the promise of money and power. He shoots Sky, breaking his Coil in two and injuring him, before running away and finally facing off with his old friend in an abandoned movie theatre, losing a quick-draw duel and growing larger by using a strange device. He is knocked back down to size with the Delta Squad Megazord and arrested by Sky.
-
Dru's alien body was never given a different name in dialog; the name “Giganus” was used in the closing credits, however. He, too, was voiced by Dwayne Cameron.
Sinuku is a dangerous criminal who is broken out of KO-35's satellite prison by Gruumm's foot soldiers at the beginning of Stakeout. He was a brilliant scientist, but used his knowledge and talents for the forces of evil to create weapons. He comes to Earth after his escape, seeking his demagnetons, small but powerful weapons which can neutralize any robot. Sinuku goes after his old partner, Dr. Rheas, in order to force her to give him the activator for the demagnetons, and faces off with Jack by himself and twice with all 5 Rangers inside a giant robot. However, the Delta Squad Megazord is able to withstand the blast from his robot's powered-up weapon and lobs it back at him, destroying it. Sinuku is confined by the Canine Cannon.
In Shadow pt. I, this otherwise-unnamed monster, who was a product of Mora's imagination, created havoc in the city when he captured a bus full of people. However, he was easily taken down by the combined efforts of the Blue, Green, Yellow and Pink Delta Runners and began to weep when he was handcuffed, earning scorn from Gruumm and laughter from the Rangers.
This monster was actually taken from the first episode of Dekaranger, “Fireball Newcomer”. The reason Syd arrives late to the battle is in Japan, her counterpart Umeko was actually riding on the captured bus! Jack's counterpart Ban had not yet arrived on Earth, hence why the Red Delta Runner never shows.
This unnamed robot, piloted by a foot soldier, was sent by Benaag in Shadow pt. I & II to drive dangerous spikes into the ground that, if activated or taken from the ground, would cause catastrophic seismic activity. It was defeated by the Delta Squad Megazord.
Often appearing in Doggie's nightmares, Benaag is one of Gruumm's most evil and powerful generals and was apparently responsible for killing Commander Cruger's wife Isinia. He appears in Shadow pts. I and II, first taunting Cruger and the Rangers via a hologram projector he gave to them at Piggy's restaurant. He sends two Krybots to ambush and abduct Kat, then heavily damages R.I.C. when he tries to protect her before sending another threatening message via the robot dog, in which Benaag promises to vaporize her unless Doggie meets him in battle. Doggie obliges, becoming the Shadow Ranger for the first time and destroying 100 Krybots before facing off against Benaag, besting him and freeing Kat seconds before she is neutralized. Benaag is judged guilty of several crimes by Shadow Ranger, but is strangely not guilty of Isinia's murder, and is contained as his punishment.
Benaag was voiced by James Gaylyn, who also provided the voice of all the Orangehead Krybots this season, and played the shopkeeper in
Zapped. Previous to this, he played the villain
Zeltrax in
Dino Thunder, a role he would reprise in the S.P.D. episode
Wormhole.
A minion of Gruumm's, in Abandoned, Drakel sought the Evil, a stone brought back from Hades that can give its holder immense power when absorbed. However, Drakel ran into difficulty because as a Vampirinoid alien, he could not go out into the sun. He purchased a sun shield from Broodwing and went to fight the guardian Baskin to obtain the Evil. He managed to get and absorb the stone into his body, giving the Rangers a thorough beating until they banded together to defeat him. Drakel was apparently weakened by the fact that one of the containment fields he wore on his wrists, ankles and tail had been knocked off by the Rangers, too.
This unnamed robot, piloted by a foot soldier, appears in Abandoned. Broodwing used it to distract the Rangers while Drakel fought Baskin to obtain the Evil. It's identical to the robot used in Beginnings pt. II (see above), but is simply colored differently.
Valko first appears in Wired pt. I on his unnamed home planet, where he is approached by Mora, who offers him a chance to impress Gruumm and become his second-in-command. Valko promises that he will use the legendary, terrible monster Goradon to destroy planet Earth. He purchases a robot from Broodwing before directly attacking the Delta Base, looking for the Series One Processor Hyper Intelligent Encryptor that will allow him to control Goradon. He recognizes what he is looking for- the new S.P.D. cadet Sophie, who is actually a cyborg- and attempts to use his robot to destroy the Base in order to make them give her up, but is unsuccessful. When Sophie is kicked out of the Academy, Valko chases her on foot, managing to capture and disable her, forcing her to power up Goradon. She escapes his clutches and is almost recaptured, but is saved by the Shadow Ranger. General Valko is fought off and confined by Cruger for his crimes.
This robot was never named and was purchased by Valko in Wired pt. I in order to attack the Delta Base to try and draw out the Series One Processor Hyper Intelligent Encryptor cyborg, aka Sophie. It was piloted by a Troobian foot soldier and armed with a sword and a laser-shooting shield. It quickly became a meal and extra energy for Goradon.
Goradon is a legendary horror, apparently part beast and part machine, and needs extremely advanced computer technology to be controlled. He was raised from hibernation by Valko to wreak havoc in Wired pt. I, and in Wired pt. II fully emerged to attack the city, completely under Valko's control thanks to his capture of Sophie, using her computer program to control Goradon's machine part. He almost destroyed the Delta Squad Megazord, but the Delta Command Crawler intervened. Goradon was ultimately destroyed by the Delta Command Megazord in its debut fight.
In Boom, Tomars happens to be at Piggy's restaurant when Morgana comes looking for Piggy's help to find a way to destroy the Rangers. Tomars shows her a laptop that turns out to be a hyperspeed interdimensional relocator, capable of sending anybody anywhere in this dimension or one of the 15 others, and proves its capabilities to her by sending Piggy to an unknown location with lots of sheep. The device seems to work by converting the victim into a signal, which is beamed up to a satellite out in space, then beamed back down to Earth. The downside is that the device outputs a lot of energy, making it easy for S.P.D. to track, though Tomars uses this to his advantage to lure Jack and Sky into a trap. He sends himself and the two unfortunate Rangers to random locations across the globe (and presumably in different dimensions) before attempting to take them to Gruumm as prisoners, but the two are saved by Boom. Tomars tries to escape into S.P.D. through a computer, but Boom deletes him. Doggie says he has a feeling Tomars will be back, but he never does return except for being one of the monsters Slate copies in Reflection pt. I.
When Slate transforms into Tomars in Reflection pt. I, he calls himself “General”; however, the real one never referred to himself by this title, so it is not known if he WAS a general of some sort, or if it is a simple continuity error. Indeed, he may have been mixed up with Valko from Wired, who actually had the title/rank General.
Tomars is one of the few monsters in the series that is actually deleted or destroyed as opposed to simply being confined.
Known as the “Destroyer of Planets”, Wootox appears to rely on luck and chance a lot, flipping a coin before making some decisions. He appears in Recognition, when the Rangers destroy his robot and cuff him, bringing him in for questioning at Cruger's behest. When being brought to a holding cell by Sky, Wootox manages to touch the yellow spot on his forehead to Sky, making him switch bodies with the Blue Ranger. He then morphs, removes the translator collar from his former body, and shoves him into the holding cell before going off to try and find a way to activate the Delta Command Megazord. However, because he doesn't know his way around the base, he accidentally barges in on Syd dancing and singing in front of her mirror, making her and Z angry and upset. Wootox then encourages the others to contain Sky, who is still in his old body; when he escapes, Wootox runs off in the other direction to try and find the cockpit again, making the others suspect something is wrong. He attacks Kat and R.I.C. in the lab, demanding to know where the Megazord's cockpit is, then duels Shadow Ranger before reminding Doggie that he can't destroy Sky's body, as then Sky will never be able to get it back. He knocks Doggie off a balcony, then manages to find the cockpit and powers up the Delta Command Megazord to destroy Newtech City. Sky stops him and knocks both of them out of the base and to the ground, where he demorphs, and the Rangers have trouble determining whether they are still switched or not. They toss a ball to R.I.C., who dutifully returns it to the real Sky, still within Wootox's old body, and Wootox is restrained so that they can switch back and is then confined.
This shrine-stealing robot appears in Samurai. At first, the Rangers believed that the alien samurai Katana was piloting Morato, which was stomping around Kyoto, Japan, and stealing shrines, storing them inside the drawers that make up its body. However, scans revealed that it was merely being piloted by a foot soldier. Gruumm had sent the robot as a diversion, forcing the Delta Base to travel to Kyoto to stop it, leaving Newtech City defenseless. Morato's weak points turned out to be the orbs within its pinching hands, and it was destroyed by the Delta Command Megazord, making the shrines return to their rightful places.
This squeaky-voiced alien appears briefly at the beginning of the episode Dismissed. It pilots a knight robot similar to the one used by Valko in Wired pt. I and attacks the city, but is quickly defeated by the Rangers in the Delta Squad Megazord when they bust up his robot's shield. (Strangely, he is never judged, nor shown to be confined.)
This alien was taken from the
Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger episode “Running Hero”, whose plot wasn't used due to it being inappropriate for American childrens' television. In it, he had planted bombs all around the city and forces Ban (Jack's counterpart) to go on a wild goose chase to disable them, forbidding him from morphing or using a patrol vehicle to travel. He also taunted and communicated with Ban via a large cell phone Ban wore around his neck. It turned out that the monster was actually tiny-sized and was inside the phone itself the whole time.
Changtor is a strange, fun-loving silver alien who appears in Dismissed. He is a wanted criminal and hangs out on Newtech City's beach; Birdy sends Syd and Z there to arrest him. The two have an easy time of it, as Changtor is not a very good fighter, until he ups the ante by pressing down on his chest and making himself grow larger. The Delta Squad Megazord cools him off with its water cannon before Z judges him, and he is defeated for good by the Rangers. (Oddly, he was never shown to be confined.)
This monster is in Perspective, never being given a proper name besides “Green-Eyed Monster”. He is seen in each of the Rangers' stories leading a large group of Krybots in stealing loads of gold from the World Gold Depository, holding the unfortunate guard hostage. After he escapes the depository, he attacks the city in a giant robot, but is defeated by the Delta Squad Megazord before being judged and confined by Syd.

These two brothers, who are old friends of Morgana's, came to Earth and nearly defeated the Rangers in Messenger pts. I & II. Though Shorty doesn't seem to be very intelligent, he is the second most-wanted criminal in the galaxy and proves to be a worthy opponent due to his massive physical strength, his skin being rubbery enough to deflect physical blows, and his ability to bounce out of the way of attacks and land with a crash. He grows to a larger version of himself after swallowing a confinement blast from the Canine Cannon and is deleted by the Omega Ranger.
Devastation is Shorty's elder brother. Morgana and Shorty called him to Earth by shooting off a huge ball of fireworks. Devastation is the most-wanted criminal in the galaxy and is even deadlier than Shorty. He can carelessly deflect a shot from the Canine Cannon by catching it in his hand, and his sword skills are a match for the Shadow Ranger's. He can also use a devastating technique called the “Fury Circle”, where a glowing yellow symbol emerges from the ground and hits whoever is trapped within it with an energy-draining lightning attack. He is deleted once by Omega Ranger's light beam mode, but revives himself with the energy he drained from Morgana and attacks in a giant robot. He is finished off for good by the Rangers, who use the Delta Squad Megazord riding the Omegamax Cycle to make his robot explode before they confine him.
This washed-up magician and assistant pair show up in Zapped, first seen putting on a very poor-quality magic show, much to the disgust of their audience. Morgana shows up and offers Mysticon a magic wand (which resembles a smaller version of Gruumm's staff) to make his act better, merely making him promise to do a favor for her someday in return. Mysticon takes full advantage of its powers, using it to make his assistant Al become invisible and helping him commit a series of robberies. Morgana tries to persuade Mysticon to fight the Rangers when they show up at the scene of one of these robberies, but he is reluctant, stating that he is not a fighter. Al, whose invisibility is rendered useless by Bridge's powers, is captured and interrogated by the Rangers, finally spilling who he is working for when Bridge's rambling drives him nuts. Gruumm forces Mysticon to put on a benefit magic show at Newtech University that is really a front for him to abduct a microbiologist, Dr. Helen Tyler-Jones, to work for him. Mysticon also puts Syd under a magic spell when she goes undercover to act as his new assistant, and she fights her friends, along with some Krybots, while he tries to escape. However, Bridge breaks the spell on Syd, and the Rangers work together to fight and contain Mysticon, who uses a giant robot against them.
Both Mysticon and Al were voiced by Barnie Duncan, who also plays
Piggy in this season.
Slate, so named because his true form is like a blank slate, baffles the Rangers in Reflection pt. I when he appears in the form of monsters they have long since judged and contained. Sky finds out from Mirloc that Slate is a mere impostor with the ability to scan any creature's genetic code and transform into an exact duplicate of them, and that he has probably been acquiring just that from Broodwing. Slate manages to obtain the genetic code from Devastation before going off to fight the Rangers, but is nearly defeated because of one significant weakness- while he can copy the form and powers of past monsters, he cannot copy their fighting styles and memories and repeats the same mistakes the real ones did. He tries to attack in a giant robot when he begins losing, but is defeated by the Delta Squad Megazord and judged guilty of identity theft. However, just as he is about to be confined, he receives unexpected help from Morgana and Gruumm in the form of an energy boost, allowing him to transform into physical copies of each monster in his repertoire. The Rangers are overwhelmed until Jack activates the new Battlizer, which destroys all of the copycat monsters with little effort. Slate is then able to be confined for his crimes.
Slate appears in the forms of 6 past monsters- Rhinix, Hydrax, Bugglesworth, Sinuku, Tomars, and Devastation.
Mirloc is a devious and evil monster with a network of connections to the criminal underworld. He is a master of emotional manipulation and is hard to keep in traditional prisons due to his ability to escape through and hide in any reflective surface. He first appears in a prison cell in the maximum-security facility on Gamma Orion in Reflection pt. I, when Sky is sent to interrogate him to find out the mystery behind the repeat criminals. Mirloc promises to give him information, but only if he shares a tragic memory with him. When Sky keeps his end of the bargain and tells the monster the story of his father's death, Mirloc laughs and mocks him, making Sky shed a tear, which Mirloc uses to escape. It is revealed at the beginning of Reflection pt. II that Mirloc was in fact the one who murdered Sky's dad. He appears inside a bathroom mirror at the Academy, tauntingly thanking Sky for releasing him before vanishing again. Mirloc then allies himself with Gruumm and uses his ability to appear inside the Delta Cruiser's rear view mirror, a small lake, and the windows of a building, eventually capturing Jack, Sky, Bridge, Z, Syd and the Omegamax Cycle inside his mirrors. However, Sam comes to their rescue and shatters the mirrors, freeing his friends. Mirloc attempts to break Sky's confidence once more, but with the support of his friends, Sky accepts Jack's morpher and uses it to become the Red Ranger to fight and contain Mirloc. He is jettisoned to serve his sentence on Verinox Twelve, a planet where sunlight doesn't reach, meaning he cannot escape again.
This unnamed robot was piloted by a Bluehead robot and appeared in Reflection pt. II. Gruumm sent it into the city to force Sam and Jack out into the open. Jack fought it inside the Omegamax Cycle and managed to destroy it- but Mirloc then appeared, capturing both Ranger and Megazord inside his mirrors.
This duo of monsters were friends of Piggy and menaced the Rangers in S.W.A.T. pts. I & II. When Kat accidentally fried the quantum enhancer on her computer, Stench and Thresher provided her with another one that had a virus which allowed Stench to be sent through the Internet, into the S.P.D. laboratory's computer. There, he stole a copy of the S.W.A.T. technology Kat was developing, which he used to give himself armor that exponentially increased his strength and agility as well as allowing him to become invisible. He rescued Thresher, who had been using a giant robot to distract the Rangers and was arrested by them, and gave him his own power bracelet and armor.
The two proceeded to terrorize the city by using their new powers to commit a series of robberies. They also managed to overwhelm and capture Sam and Cruger while the other Rangers were away on Zentour, training. The duo acquired an army of Krybots from Broodwing and were planning on taking over the city, until the Rangers burst in on their hideaway, outfitted with the S.W.A.T. technology themselves. Stench and Thresher fought back, but were quickly overwhelmed by the real S.W.A.T. gear and confined for their crimes.
In Dekaranger, the monsters' armor had nothing whatsoever to do with the S.W.A.T. Technology- it was called “Muscle Gear” and was developed by Agent Abrella (Broodwing) to sell to monsters so that they'd wear down S.P.D. for him, allowing him to take over with minimal effort.
This monster showed up very briefly at the end of S.W.A.T. pt. I and the beginning of pt. II. It was actually Sergeant Silverback disguising himself in order to test the Rangers' readiness for battle.
Ginika, Chiaggo and Delapoo are a trio of rich and snobby mischief-makers, who earned vast fortunes thanks to weapons and robots given to them by Broodwing and were also responsible for destroying the Alpha Five star system. In Robotpalooza, Broodwing calls on the three to return the favor and help him defeat the Rangers, planning for them to lie in wait while Gruumm repeatedly attacks Earth, then going after the Rangers when they're too exhausted to fight effectively. Bridge has troubling dreams in which he and his fellow Rangers are getting defeated by their three robots, then later dreams that the three monsters are laughing at and taunting him. When Bridge investigates and attempts to stop Ginika, Chiaggo and Delapoo from carrying out their plan, they mockingly brush aside his Guilty verdict and unleash many Orange and Blueheads to attack him. However, the other Rangers arrive in the nick of time to rescue him, and are able to defeat and confine the monster trio when Kat presents the team with their new S.W.A.T. Flyers.
The Rangers fought three other monsters in-between Bridge's dreams of Ginika and his friends. The first was a purple ghost/phantom-like monster who was never named (and indeed, never even spoke), which was created by Morgana in an attempt to make a warrior for Gruumm that he'd never seen before. It was able to control a robot by hiding inside a special canister in the robot's cockpit, but was defeated and apparently deleted by the Deltamax Megazord. The second was a cyclops monster who called himself “One-Eye”, who didn't last long before he too was confined by the Deltamax Megazord. The third was a silver-headed monster who was never named in dialog but called “Silverhead” in the credits. He managed to be a worthy opponent for the boys, but Syd was able to nearly overcome him, until he raised the stakes by summoning a giant robot. He was judged guilty of assault and operating a robot without a license by Syd, and was defeated and confined by the Deltamax Megazord.
These monsters were taken from three different episodes of Dekaranger, and the Zord fight footage was cobbled together with that from a fourth episode to make Robotpalooza. The phantom monster came from the Deka episode “Witness Grandma”, where it possessed Jack's counterpart Ban, unbeknownst to the others. One-Eye was from “Funky Prisoner”, where he was previously a Robin Hood-type alien, stealing to feed himself and other orphaned monsters, but got too ambitious and began stealing more and more valuables until he committed an accidental murder, for which his partner was captured. Finally, Silverhead was from the episode “Princess Training”, where he was an assassin plotting to kill an alien princess that had come to Earth to perform a series of bizarre rituals to test her worthiness to be queen.
Mooney appears in Katastrophe and was a student at the S.P.D. science academy alongside Kat, but developed a strong dislike for her because she was at the top of the class, whereas he was at the bottom. He decides to take revenge on her by analyzing the Megazords in battle and using that knowledge to create a robot, the Gigabot, that is made from the best parts of past robots and able to counter their attacks, assisted in this plan by Broodwing. The Gigabot is powered by a Helios Generator, a highly-unstable device of Mooney's own invention that had the potential to destroy the Rangers without being deactivated. Kat leaves her new job at S.P.D. headquarters in order to try and talk Mooney out of it, then morphs into the Kat Ranger when that fails and Broodwing sends his Krybots at her. Mooney loses his false bravado when Broodwing shoves him aside, takes the Gigabot's control console for himself and pushes the Helios Generator up to its full power, threatening to blow up the S.W.A.T. Megazord. He frets that Kat will not be able to stop it in time; when she does, he attempts to flee, but is cut off from escaping by Sam and Cruger. Kat judges Mooney guilty of various crimes, stating that he obviously didn't learn much in school, and confines him.
Herock is an alien mob boss that appears briefly in Missing. He had a score to settle with Bork, whom he apparently betrayed, and sent four Bluehead Krybots after him. However, Bork illegally deleted Herock and the foot soldiers before Bridge arrived to confront him.
Bork, a dangerous intergalactic felon responsible for the destruction of the Alpha Centauri star system, appears in Missing. He is very overconfident, boastfully calling himself the “Ultimate Master” and considering himself to be above the law. His ultimate fighting technique involves spinning the long metal braid on the top of his head, which instantly vaporizes anything it comes in contact with. At the beginning of the episode, the Rangers are tracking him and split up in order to search faster. Bridge finds Bork just as he neutralizes a fellow monster named Herock, along with some Blueheads. Bork and Bridge get into a fight, but the monster swiftly overpowers the Green Ranger, forcing Bridge to demorph, beating him up while unmorphed, and knocking him unconscious. Bork then kidnaps Bridge, taking him to the Newtech City train station and putting him inside a death trap room, where the walls rapidly close in on him. Bork is unconcerned when Broodwing informs him that the Rangers are after him, confident in his ability to beat them, and nearly manages to vaporize Sky, Syd, Z and Sam when he takes them on. They almost gain the upper hand, but Bork is given a robot by Broodwing to up his chances. However, Jack and Bridge are soon able to join the others and destroy the robot and contain Bork using the S.W.A.T. Flyer Cannon.

These two powerful and highly-dangerous monsters appeared in History and Impact, respectively. The first one was summoned by Broodwing (against Gruumm's wishes) to try and draw out Conner, Kira and Ethan, three of the Dino Thunder Rangers, whom he'd abducted and brought to the future. The B-Squad Rangers, who had taken the Dino Thunder team back to the Delta Base for safekeeping, went to the quarry themselves. They assumed S.W.A.T. Mode to fight Dragoul I, and were gaining the upper hand when it suddenly ran away and burrowed underground. It then emerged, giant-sized, in the middle of downtown while the Rangers were distracted by a massive army of Krybots. Sam takes it on in battle with the Omegamax Megazord, but is nearly defeated before Jack, Sky, Bridge, Z and Syd are able to come assist him in the Delta Squad Megazord. The two Megazords combine into the Deltamax and make Dragoul I explode.
However, unbeknownst to the Rangers, there is another one beneath the surface…
Dragoul II appears in Impact, causing tremors as it lurks underground. It then emerges in the center of town and is confronted by the Deltamax Megazord again, but this time it has no effect- and it escapes by burrowing. Dragoul II then pops up again to fight the Rangers while Jack and Sky go after the meteor headed toward Newtech City. The Omegamax Cycle and Delta Squad Megazord both prove to be ineffective, even moreso when Dragoul II swells up to an even more enormous size. The Delta Command Megazord enters the fray and is barely able to hold it off; also, when it seems as though the Rangers have gained the upper hand when Sky returns in his S.W.A.T. Flyer, Dragoul still stands up under the assault. However, when Jack returns with the rest of the S.W.A.T Megazord, all four Megazords combine their power, and the S.W.A.T. Flyer Cannon blows the second Dragoul up.

Professor Cerebros is a respected scientist and astronomer living and working at Newtech Observatory on Earth, but appears to actually be under Broodwing's employ, though under protest, as Cerebros mentions that Gruumm “wouldn't like it” if he knew. In History, the two work together to unleash the first Dragoul and kidnap Conner, Kira and Ethan from the past and try and force them to work with them to destroy Earth. However, the trio escapes, and the first Dragoul is destroyed.
In Impact, while a new Dragoul lurks underground, Cerebros offers to put another plan into action- with a special controller, he is somehow able to alter the trajectory of a meteor and make it land right in the middle of Newtech City. This, he and Broodwing figure, will leave the Rangers with a painful choice- stop the meteor and let Dragoul destroy the city, or stop Dragoul and let it hit. The cadets then go to Cerebros to confirm Kat's calculation that the meteor will impact Earth, but are assured it will not. However, Bridge is not satisfied with this explanation and uses his powers to discern that “Cerebros” is actually a fake. He reveals himself to be the monster Kraw, who stole the real Professor Cerebros' identity, as his real face is too recognizable to intergalactic law enforcement. Sky judges him guilty and the Rangers confine him, but it's too late, as the meteor's trajectory has already been unshakably set.
Icthior, nicknamed “Icky”, appears in Badge. He was Doggie's rival at the S.P.D. Academy on Sirius, with both of them competing for the affection of Isinia. However, Icthior often fought with dirty techniques, such as kicking sand into his opponent's eyes, and fighting far too hard during simple spars. He is rejected by Isinia when he nearly severely injures Doggie in a practice duel and is thereafter expelled from the Academy. He comes to Earth some years later, armed with his Ocean Saber (which looks similar to Doggie's Shadow Saber except for a bird's head on the hilt) and ambushes Sky, Syd, and Bridge, severely injuring all three and stealing their badges as a symbolic gesture, physically taking their rank and pride. Worried that more attacks will follow, Doggie goes to battle Icthior himself (though is unable to stop him from stealing Sam's badge) and quickly gets the upper hand. However, Icthior convinces Doggie not to finish him off, reminding him that Isinia made him promise to never strike out in anger, and the coward takes advantage of his momentary pause, forcing him to demorph and taking Doggie's Commander's badge as well. Jack and Z, distressed at the sight of their friends in pain, disobey orders to take on Icthior and a small Krybot army, almost being defeated themselves in the process. However, the injured Rangers come to their aid, and Doggie faces off against his old rival once more, telling Icthior he is striking out in justice and in his wife's memory. Before he is contained, Icthior taunts Doggie, stating flat out that Isinia is alive.
After Icthior's defeat, a furious Broodwing hopped inside this robot and attempted to defeat the Rangers on his own. However, the Delta Command Megazord was easily able to blow it up with its main weapon, forcing Broodwing to make a hasty retreat.
Three monsters were created by Mora for Gruumm in Wormhole in order to help him conquer Earth in 2004. None of them were ever named in dialog, and were simply identified in the credits as “Vine Monster”, “Green Monster” and “Spotty-Eyed Monster”. The three were sent into battle against the combined forces of the S.P.D. and Dino Thunder Rangers. Z, Syd and Kira team up and use some girl power to destroy the Spotty-Eyed Monster with their combined laser fire; Sky, Ethan and Trent take care of the Green Monster using their weapons; and Conner and Jack bust out the Battlizers to take care of the Vine Monster.
Delex is a monster under Broodwing's employ, who has been judged guilty in 10 galaxies for his crimes and appears in Resurrection. He has the power to absorb all humans and convert them to energy, which is stored in cells on his chest. He can also summon lightning to strike his enemies with. Sky and Z try to stop Delex, but he disappears in order to report back to Broodwing, who needs the human energy-charged cells for an unknown evil scheme. He gives Delex an energy accelerator, which allows him to absorb greater numbers of humans at one time, and sends him back out. He nearly takes out the Rangers, who are weakened somewhat due to Jack's absence, until the Red Ranger finally shows up to assist them. However, Delex uses some of the energy he absorbed to swell to a much larger size, and faces off against the S.W.A.T. Megazord. The Rangers manage to confine him with the S.W.A.T. Flyer Cannon, making all of the people he converted to energy come back, safe and sound.

In Dekaranger, Delex was called Terry X. At first, he only had the power to drain the abilities of ESPers (psychics), killing them- the energy accelerator allowed him to absorb all humans. Some years before the series began, Terry X had captured Sky and Z's counterparts Hoji and Jasmine, intending to kill them both and drain Jasmine's ESPer powers. The two were then saved by their superior Gyoku Ryou (who was Earth's Red before Jack's counterpart Ban arrived), but he received a debilitating leg injury in the process, and Terry X escaped as well. Because of this, Hoji and Jasmine bore a grudge against Terry X, so when he reappeared, they discarded their usual logic and reason and followed him tirelessly to bring him to justice. This is why, in Resurrection, Sky and Z rather uncharacteristically stick together and consistently go after Delex rather than helping their friends and fighting together with them.
In Endings pt. I, Broodwing summoned a massive army of Krybots along with three generals, who were never identified in dialog and only called “Crabhead”, “Monster #1” and “Monster #2” in the credits. Crabhead is, obviously, a red crab-like monster with claws for hands. Monster #1 is the spike-headed, urchin-like monster, while Monster #2 is the pink-headed one. Together, they broke into the Delta Base via a drill robot, fighting against Sam, the S.P.D. Cadets, Kat and Boom once they were inside. The latter two were captured and imprisoned while Broodwing and his generals found the controls for the Delta Command Megazord and piloted it together to attack the helpless Newtech City. However, once the A-Squad is defeated, the Rangers infiltrate the base, and Kat is freed and cuts the power to the mainframe, Broodwing sends the generals out to try and prevent the Rangers from reaching him. Sky, Bridge, Z and Syd team up against them while Jack leaves them to find Broodwing. The three generals are knocked clear away from the base shortly after Broodwing attempts to escape. They try to defend Broodwing, but are all defeated and confined by the Rangers.
In Dekaranger, Crabhead was called Ganymede, Monster #1 was Uniga and #2 was called Sukeela. They were all broken out of prison by Agent Abrella (Broodwing) and given Hyper Muscle Gear (souped-up versions of the armor Stench and Thresher had) to help him take over the Dekabase. Uniga mentions that he was the inspiration for the design of the Orangehead Krybots, which is why he wields their same weapons.
In Endings pt. I, when the B-Squad gained the upper hand against the traitorous A-Squad, they upped the ante by unleashing this robot against the Omegamax and Delta Squad Megazords. It shore the blade off the Judgment Sword before completely destroying the Delta Squad Megazord. However, the Rangers were able to gain access to the S.W.A.T. Megazord, which proved victorious with little effort, and allowed the Rangers to confine the traitors.

Mora created seven monsters from the last pages of her magical notebook in a desperate attempt to defeat the Shadow Ranger in Endings pt. II. None of them were ever named in dialog or the credits, spoke any lines, nor even appeared for more than brief flashes before being destroyed.
At least two of these monsters- the bird in the prison stripes, and the tentacled monster with one eye- were unused Dekaranger monsters. The others appear too briefly, are too shadowed, or only appear from the back, making it too difficult to tell where they came from. The bird was known in Japan as Niwande and was the titular prisoner from the episode “Funky Prisoner”. He and his partner, Milibar (called “One-Eye” in S.P.D., see above) were Robin Hood-type aliens, until Milibar became too ambitious and ended up committing a murder. He escaped, and Niwande was imprisoned
as an accessory to the crime. When Milibar reappeared, Jasmine (Z's counterpart) took Niwande from prison, finding to her frustration that he appeared to have lost his mind and acted like a ditz, developing a crush on her. However, this was simply a cover for Niwande's true nature- a gentle alien who happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. He grew fond of Jasmine and assisted with locating Milibar, which culminated in her taking a bullet meant for him to the shoulder. After Milibar was deleted, he peacefully went back to prison to finish out his sentence.
The tentacled monster was from the episode “Fireball Succession” and was a parasite called Jellyfish. He had the power to possess other beings by forcibly driving his tentacles into their bodies and attaching to their nervous systems, making him impossible to remove by force without killing the host. His ultimate goal was to make Earth into a planet completely filled with water, making it habitable for his species. He infested Ban, intending to use him to achieve this goal, and forced him to attack the others. Ban yelled at the others to shoot him, and Sam's counterpart Tetsu eventually came up with a solution- he stopped Ban's heart with an electric shock, making Jellyfish let go of his host (thinking he'd died); Tetsu then delivered more shocks to Ban to restart his heart.
